Large-scale public art, fast-paced execution, and community-driven design are some of my favorite parts of being a working artist. My background includes completing expansive murals under tight timelines while managing logistics, materials, and on-site coordination.
My recent work includes serving as lead painter on the Earhart Food Truck Plaza Mural in New Orleans, where I helped transform over 80,000 square feet of underpass into a vibrant public gathering place in just two weeks for the 2025 Super Bowl. The Glass Half Full warehouse mural, featured in the New York Times, is my largest personal project to date which was completed alongside over 100 community volunteers.
In addition to painted work, I’ve contributed to large-scale mosaic installations through my role as an installer with Mosaika Art and Design Studios. developing strong technical skills in surface prep, material handling, and long-term durability. Working as primary assistant to renowned public artist Dixie Friend Gay was instrumental in developing my independent practice as a public artist.
My work often explores environmental themes, joyful motion, and intergenerational connection. I regularly lead workshops and participatory design sessions, ensuring public voice is integral to the final work.
I thrive in environments that require adaptability, self-management, and collaboration and approach every mural as an opportunity to build beauty, dialogue, and belonging.
